Marvel at the mighty moving wheels of industry as we power-up the largest collection of working steam engines in the Power Hall.

Discover hidden treasures in our Collections Centre, which houses an unusual array of items from Cyberman's boots to hand-made microscopes produced by the Manchester maker John Benjamin Dancer. We can even arrange a special handling session for you!

Take a trip down memory lane and visit the recreated living rooms of the 1930s and 1950s in the Electricity Gallery and see how domestic appliances have changed throughout the years.
